Jennifer & Brandon - wedding day & day after

We met Jennifer and Brandon more than a year ago, and we were INSTANTLY blown away with their amazing relationship.  They are two of the most joyful people you will meet.  AND they are OPERA SINGERS!  WHAT?  That was the cool that just put them over the edge for us, and a new appreciation for Opera was born.  Jennifer just got into the Dallas Opera Guild Competition.  (GOOD LUCK JEN!)  We got to hear a sampling of Brandon's vocal stylings during the reception when he sang to his new bride with his dudes as back up.  It was INCREDIBLE!  These two have more talent than the law should allow.

Side note:  To all of Jennifer & Brandon's family and friends...... you are AWESOME!  If we could hug each and everyone of you, we would.  The day was an outpouring of love for J&B.  We were so happy to be there to capture it.

We hope you two enjoy a very joyful life together!  We will be hanging out very soon!   

Don't even try to come between Jennifer and "Baby Got Back"....  you will lose.

The day after session...... 

When you are in love, you want to shout it from the rooftops....    

You will get Brandon to be serious about every 12th picture....  mostly he's like this.....  He's a ham, and we love him for that.   So does Jennifer..... :)

We love shooting day after sessions so much!  If you are finding it difficult to find time on your wedding day for alone time with your photographer, then this is the perfect way to get dressed up again, have some fun, and get cool pictures.

Britney & Bo - engagements

We just happen to meet Britney & Bo when they were checking out a venue that we just happen to be working.  One of those accidental meetings that totally rocks!  B&B were just so happy and in love and completely excited about their engagement and planning their wedding day.  We became instant friends, and now we have the privilege of shooting their engagements and wedding day.  It's coming up so soon, and we're all counting the days.  

Weddings rule so much.

Sometimes shooting incorrectly is fun.....

Jenifer & Karl - wedding day

AMEN!  Our internet is finally fixed!  We have not been able to super blog or upload anything, so we are due for some updates.  Thanks for your patience everybody.  :)  

Jenifer & Karl had their ceremony at Marty Leonard Chapel in Ft. Worth.  WOW!  What an awesome chapel this is.  Karl is an architect, so he had a great appreciation for this uniquely beautiful chapel.  The coordinators there were so nice too.  Nice coordinators rock so much.      

 Jenifer & Karl had their reception at their favorite restaurant not far from the chapel.  One of their must haves for the reception was a photo booth.  Who doesn't love a photo booth?  They are the most fun!  I love the shots we got from it below.  And the bubble shot with the flower girl is one of my most fav bubble shots of all time.  Bubbles are classic.

We found out that the engagement shoot we did with Julie & Scott is featured on loweroaklawn.com !  Kendall Shiffler heads up this very cool blog and does an incredible job at representing one of the coolest parts of Dallas.  We heart the DDD!

Brides of North Texas Launch Party - Nylo Hotel

Last night we were so honored to be a part of the Brides of North Texas launch party for their very first issue which drops in the metroplex next week.  It was a bash, a full on awesome night of hanging out with some of the most talented vendors in the biz.  

Brendan wouldn't let me take my camera to the event.  REALLY Brendan?  

You big ol' meany.  (he wanted me to just enjoy myself and not WORK..... which was weird and I felt naked without my Nikon buddy)  So of course, we gravitated to the other photographers in the room... especially the event photographers who were in from Oklahoma City where the sister magazine Brides of Oklahoma was born.  This super duo were Stella Photography who are as fun and cool as they are talented.  We ended up hanging out with Katie waaaay after the party was over.  Drinking Manhattan's and talking photography til they kicked us out.  If you are in need of Oklahoma wedding photography or know of a bride who does, call these girls quick!  You will be so happy you did.... plus they're so fabulous, they book up really fast.  

The entertainment for the night was none other than our good friend Andy Austin (who we just blogged about below), and the lighting was done by the ever so amazing Lite Dallas team.  The room was GORGEOUS!  Of course, I have no pictures to back that up, but trust me, it was bling-alish-us.  (new word, right there! BAM!)

We were presented with the coolest gift ever.  It was a hard bound coffee table book of the magazine.  It's so COOL!!!!  We had a feature spread where we shot some of the local invitation talents, and it turned out beautifully.  Lolly & Chris' wedding was also featured in the magazine, plus we had an ad.  WOW, we were all over the place.  Here are some of our feature pages....
